Ordered from ASDA a named day delivery of a washing machine, that fact was confirmed by HDN/Yodel two days ago, that they would deliver this morning 27th Jan between 7am and 10am. Great, or so you would think. Waited all day, and at 5pm I finally managed to get through to their team on the elusive 0800 015 1509 number. The rep I spoke to let me know that they hadn't any intention to deliver today, and they would in fact be delivering on Tuesday 31st Jan between 8.15am and 12.15pm. I asked her when were they going to let me know that they wouldn't be here at 7am this morning. She didn't know.
About two hours later HDN phoned me! To let me know they would deliver on Tuesday, deja vu? I thanked the lady and asked her when was she going to let me know that they were not going to deliver today as contracted and as they had confirmed two days ago? She didn't know. I asked why they hadn't been able to deliver today? She didn't know. In the end she hung up the phone on me without a thank you nor a good bye.
It is no wonder Yodel are rated the worst parcel service on this website!
They are really letting Asda down. This was the first time for me to order from Asda Direct. I won't be doing so again. I will also think twice about ordering from Next, Amazon or any other company that used HDN. I have had bad experiences in the past whenever HDN has been involved.
