After ringing 2 local builders merchants to obtain a new shower cartridge to be told the unit is obsolate I rang shower doc who had them on the shelf. Received it following day before lunch. Do the big boys really need our buisness, certainly will not get mine
As my shower as had a name change since I purchased it. It was proving to be very difficult to find the replacement part I required. Therefore it was great when there was a diagram & pictures of my shower & the part I needed on the shower doctor website. This was a great help. Delivery of parts was within 2 days. Great website & great service.
I ordered some some shower knobs for a student property,so needed them quickly this wasn't mentioned on ordering but received them next day without paying extra, this is the second time I've used shower doctor and it won't be the last I WOULD RECOMEND TO EVERYBODY ,well done shower doctor and a big thank you xx
My electric shower wasn't heating properly. I'm moderately DIY competent but had never tackled a shower before and was on the verge of buying a complete replacement. I then found the Shower Doctor videos on YouTube - first-off I found one that showed me how to confirm that the heating element had burned out (always a good idea before parting with £50 for a replacement Heater Can Assembly) and then another really helpful guide to replacing a component in an electric shower.
The ordering process was brilliant - the Heater Can was dispatched the same day and arrived a day ahead of schedule. I reviewed the replacement video and, with the help of a friend (who provided that essential third hand at the critical moments) had the new Heater Can installed and the shower working in just over an hour.
A new shower would have meant at-least another £100 expenditure and the hassle of the new one inevitably not fitting in the hole left by the old one leading (potentially) to a re-tiling job!
Definitely 100% satisfied - I hope that I won't need them again soon but, if and when I do, I'll be back!
Needed a new cartridge for my Bristan shower as it was leaking. Contacted ShowerDoc by phone and they suggested I sent a photo so correct one could be ordered. They quickly identified the cartridge as a Cart 5. I ordered one on the Friday and it arrived on Monday! Fitted it Monday evening and shower was back up and running. Excellent service would recommend.
Incredible service. The first time I have used this company and will certainly use them again. I placed an on-line order for a spare part for my shower on a Friday at 16:00hrs and received three emails withtin an hour. The first email was to confirm my registration as a new customer, the second was to confirm the details of my order and finally the third was to confirm my order had been despatched! I didn't expect to receive my spare part until the following week but I was astonished when I received the part the next day, Saturday morning before 11 a.m.! Talk about speedy service, they should be called "The Flying Doctor". Oh, and by the way, the part works fine.
I ordered a Triton power shower on Thursday at 2.30pm, which was delivered before 10am Friday morning. Well packaged, reasonable charge for next day delivery.
I received e-mails to update me on progress and tracking system was informative.
Will definitely use Shower Doctor again and would recommend them to others.
Super fast, easy to use, reliable. Only limitation is parts stock (which clearly is very extensive), but as other internet searches didn't find the bits that these guys don't stock I can't really fault them for this....
Ordered parts for redring shower and received them in two days. Fitted the parts and the shower worked first time,no problem. Really simple to order parts and any confusion about faults can be sorted over the phone. Will use shower doctor again.r
I was very pleased to be able to find and purchase the part I required, with ease. I did opt for an overnight delivery for speed, though I thought the price for this was very good.
I also happened to ask a question about another part that was not detailed on the site. I felt disappointed that the reply was merely: "The rear casing is not available as a spare part." It seemed a little curt, yet I cannot argue that it was to the point and, no doubt, the truth! No complaints, though.
