I spend most of my working day in front of an Apple computer that offers the best possible working environement for ones eyes. Unfortunately, I recently damaged my back and decided that I really needed to look carefully at my seating position.
As a result of searches on the Web I discovered Wellworking and from my first conversation with them I realised that they main interested was in finding a solution to my problem rather than just making a sale. How refreshing in this day and age! They even offered to send me, without charge, on loan a chair to try out.
My working life has really been changed by this new addition and I have even purchased a second one for my home office.
All I can say is that it was really a pleasure dealing with them and I would without hesitation recommend them to anybody who sits at a desk working on a computer - even if only a PC.

I got a request to confirm my availability of delivery, a mail to confirm the delivery time, and confirmation on the day that my chair was on its way.
The chaps tuned up exactly in the time slot, in a very clean and tidy truck. They unpacked my chair in front of me in the van so that I could see it was brand new. The chair was carried into my house so the castors didn't get scratched. They chap doing the installation took his shoes off upon entry to the hallway, without being asked which I thought was great.
The whole reason I bought this chair is the fact that it is an ergonomic chair, so the fitting of the chair to me was fantastic. Ever lever explained and tested, and final configuration was down to my requirements.
These chaps know their stuff, and I would recommend them for service, professionalism and efficiency.
I rang initially to buy a particular chair I had seen on the Wellworking web site and was well advised to try another that was more suited to my situation. The price was very good compared to a well known department store and I was confident to go this route as I knew I could change the chair if it turned out not to be right for me.
The initial delivery had to be delayed because there was a problem with the chair mechanism. This was handled very well by Wellworking's staff who were honest and up front about the problem. They got a replacement delivered very quickly and the training and installation at home was excellent. Overall excellent service and exactly as described on website.
Communication was excellent. Wellworking talked me through the process of ordering a customised Herman Miller Aeron chair. Very pleasant interaction. Delivery was on time. Chair was delivered fully assembled and good to go.
When I started looking for office chair specialists that would be able to recommend, fit and trial chairs, I was really surprised by how few there seemed to be in London. That I was able to try the chairs for more than a few moments and really understand how they suited me was brilliant.
Everyone who fitted me was great. The only area of improvement would be organising delivery slots/timing - which didn't seem as efficient as the rest of the experience. But otherwise, great! And if I were you I'd get out there and make more of a noise about the importance of good chairs at work and your approach.
I chose Wellworking for my recent purchase primarily because of price. My early interactions with the firm started well - my order was wholly bespoke so I needed a firm of experts to help select the correct components. Their product knowledge was good and their links with the manufacturer were impressive. However when the time came to confirm the order and pay for it, it took two goes to actually get hold of someone in the accounts team who knew what they were doing.
Furthermore, the lead time, which was already protracted, was further delayed mid-way through. I was told this was due to "supply problems from America", even though the manufacturer has UK factories. These additional delays only came to light when, having heard nothing for weeks, I enquired about progress. There was no proactive approach to tell me of these delays. Whilst the opportunity to cancel the order was offered, the fact is poor communication let the side down.
Delivery was disorganised - it needed an operations manager to advise and his response came right at the end of the working day, leaving little time before a weekend to coordinate the item's arrival. To their credit, delivery was on time and the item was as specified.
But the whole experience was an utter shambles and I'd be very cautious about ordering from them in future.
Both the person at the warehouse and the person who delivered the chair took time and trouble to answer questions and advise. The person at the warehouse brought chairs out promptly, answered my questions knowledgeably, and was very supportive of me in my relative confusion. The person who delivered the chair was clear in his demonstrations of how things worked and was very patient with me as i tried it all out. Both responded as human beings, not as people in a hurry t make a sale and move on. excellent.
I am not aware of the final customer satisfaction? however the ordering process went smoothly and the notification that the scheduled date was communicated well allbeit a bit last minute.
The website was easy to search. I found what I wanted quickly. It even had a fast-track delivery service of exactly what I needed. I particularly liked that the most desirable version of the chair that I wanted was available in this way. The person who contacted me to arrange delivery was polite and responsive. He also did exactly as I asked to ensure that there was someone at my home who could take delivery of the chair whilst I was abroad on business. I'm told that the person who delivered the chair was the happiest worker my children's carer had ever met. He showed her how to operate the chair and was very affable. I love the product and I have been delighted with the service and price.
I purchased an Eames DSR chair while on offer. Purchasing online was easy. I was given a delivery date and kept informed as the date approached. The chair was delivered 2 days earlier than the original date, but as I was kept informed this was no problem. I was also given a one hour delivery slot (via email and phone) for the delivery day and that was stuck to. The delivery man even took the packaging away.
All went smoothly.

The chairs were on a few weeks delivery wait time but this was stated. in the event they arrived earlier than expected and were delivered by a very pleasant gentleman who helped me unpack the chairs and took away the packaging. i have no hesitation in recommending this company. i love my chairs which now sit in my kitchen looking very cool.
Ordered a Herman Miller Celle chair, which was delivered within 72 hours. Upon delivery I was shown exactly how the chair worked and all the different seating options. A truly excellent service, would definitely use Wellworking again.

Although the wrong colour was sent from their supplier they went out of their way to correct the fault with haste! They were very embarrassed but also very apologetic about the situation. I ordered a designer chair - previously researched on-line - directly from Wellworking website. I received strait-forward information on my order, and timing (a fairly long waiting for my chair, I admit). Regarding delivery I was informed on the allocated week, then closer to the time an hour-slot on given day pre-arranged by phone. There were no surprises, only a very friendly person delivering on time... Thank you.
The salesperson who came to assess what would be the most suitable work station for me was excellent. She advised me on posture, seating etc. and took all the measurements etc.. However, when the desk arrived the wrong top had been provided so I had to wait several weeks for the correct top to be installed. These things happen so I wasn't overly annoyed. I wasn't happy, though, with the rather patronising manner of the person who came with the equipment. He apologised but gave the impression he/the company were doing me a favour! The assistant, though, Mark Baker, was very courteous. I would also suggest that, when making date and time to deliver equipment, you should ask the client first which days suit them. I am a lecturer in Central London and it was just chance that I could be here on the days I was told had been marked for delivery.
The service today (10.10.13) was excellent and David Jones's manner very professional. Again Mark Baker was also very helpful.

Having purchased a Herman Millar chair online we were disappointed to find our credit card had been debited but there was no sign of a delivery for 3 weeks. However, once we contacted Well Working to complain, their customer service was excellent. They arranged a fast delivery and on arrival we were given some excellent training on the use of the chair for the best ergonomic position and left feeling our custom was valuable.
We would certainly use WellWorking again even if their online web site let them down by debiting the credit card before delivery was completed.
Once the choice of chairs had been made, the product paid for and ordered, the delivery service was excellent. We were informed of the delivery date, we received notice of delivery time and upon receipt were advised to call for the individual fitting of each chair.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

My new office chair was delivered this week and I am delighted with it. After almost 2 years of sitting on a dining chair to work up to 5 hours a day, I can already feel a huge difference in how I feel physically at the end of the day. I chose the SAYL chair for its looks initially, then went and tried it out in my local department store. I suffer from occasional lower back pain so I find the design of the seat back very comfortable and supportive. It encourages me to sit correctly whilst at the computer, but also allows me to lean back and relax when I'm on the phone. I stumbled across Wellworking when looking for a price comparison online. I hadn't heard of them before but my experience of buying from them has been seamless. It was easy to order and customise my chair online; I chose a non-standard colour so it took a few weeks to arrive, but I was kept up to date with the anticipated delivery date and was called the day before to confirm a 1-hour slot. The gentleman who delivered the chair was polite, friendly and knowledgeable; he carried the chair upstairs to my office and then spent plenty of time showing me how to set it up correctly and how to get the best from it. This is definitely not something you get when ordering from a department store! All in all, a seamless experience from Wellworking that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
