They said they would not take my payment so when i said cancel order they just took it anyways never ever use these lying scumbags and spoke to someone called paul who is a liar and when phoned backes as asking for these they said he gone home 5 minutes later the lying toe rags oh and just realised i bought a load of servers and computers before and was about to purchase some more at end of week for the nee office and new staff but u can shove them where the sun dont shine business closed with you
I ordered an air cooler and paid for a Saturday delivery (6/7/13). Unfortunately, Parcelforce put the wrong consignment number on my order and I never received it. I phoned Aircon's Customer Services and they were very apologetic, but they explained that they couldn't trace the whereabouts of the lost item because it can't be tracked on the day of delivery! I therefore waited until Monday morning (8/7/13) and then phoned Customer Services again. I spoke to Paul who was so lovely and helpful. He advised me that my air cooler had been mislaid by Parcelforce and that their Investigations Team were looking into why this had happened and would get back to me within 3 to 5 days. I explained that I couldn't wait that long as it was already sweltering and that I'd decided to cancel my order. He was very understanding and said it that was perfectly fine to cancel.
I then phoned Customer Services again on Thursday (11/7/13) because I was curious to find out what had become of the mislaid air cooler. I spoke to another lovely guy named Scott. He told me that Parcelforce had returned the air cooler that very morning! It was a mystery as to where it had been, but I was just relieved that it had been returned to Aircon. I then asked if I could re-order the air cooler and he said that was okay. So he arranged to send it out again (Saturday delivery) and assured me that I would receive it before 1pm on Saturday. And guess what - it arrived at 10am on Saturday - and an added bonus - because of all the inconvenience I'd initially experienced with the first order - Scott deducted the Saturday delivery fee. THANK YOU Aircon so much for such wonderful customer care. You have brilliant staff. As I mentioned above, they took the heat out of a very trying situation. The air cooler is brilliant - it's keeping my daughter, who is battling through her 'A' levels, lovely and cool now. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I will certainly have no hesitation using your services again and recommending you to other people.
We purchased an Air Conditioning unit from Appliance Direct which basically set FIRE whilst in use in our office within the 1st month. They told us we need to fully package the large heavy item and return it to them at our cost for repair, we explained to them that we could not keep large packaging here as we don’t have storage so could they send a courier with the appropriate packaging to collect the faulty item they told us NO and if the goods arrive back to them with any kind of damage then they would not repair the unit. I ordered a portable air conditioner. The process was very easy and it was delivered on time. However it was faulty. I rang the company and my first impression was WOW. If you use the phone that you registered with they know who you are. I know this is simple technology but it impresses me never the less. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They send a returns form and I requested a different model as a replacement. No trouble at all. Old unit picked up, new unit delivered a week later. Very very happy
Aircon use a delivery company that are not trustworthy. They failed to deliver on the appointed day and I was blamed for not being at home. This was not true and can be proven via CCTV. I could not take another day off work so I cancelled the order. I was then told I would be charged £20 to have the goods delivered back to them. This I told them was outrageous. Had Aircondirect been more sympathetic I might have organised another day for delivery.
After phoning this company to enquire about a product, the sales team were keen to help and place my order, they sent me an invoice order which i decided to pay via paypal, after checking out i noticed they sneakely added a £5 paypal surcharge, so were not off to a good start already, after phoning the sales team, and telling them i wanted the item delivered to another address in my paypal account they said no problem, and to date i have never had a problem with sending items to my delivery address which is 3 doors down from my billing address, (Im in the uk, please ignore location on facebook!)
last night after logging in to my emails, i got an email from aircondirect telling me my order was cancelled and i would be refunded, because of it being delivered 3 doors down from my billing address, Even though my account is verified, this was annoying as i had previously been told this would be fine from sales
heres the bad thing, they claimed in the email id be refunded immidieiatly (as is normally the case with most companies). 24 hours later, no refund, after calling there customer service, they said they would refund me straight away, another 2 hours no refund?
time to take action, so i opened a dispute with paypal, then phoned them back, now they claim they can't refund me until i close the dipute, do they think im stupid? its a simple procedure to just log in and click issue refund, but no they cant seem to do this, even paypal have offered to assist them
after several calls to them i have still not been refunded, paypal have told me under no circumstances to close the dispute as once you do that, you can not re-open. Paypal informed me they dont no what there problem is, as its a straight forward simple procedure
The fact is im disabled and do not need this stress, i need the money back asap so i can re-order my ac/dehumidifier for health reasons
the sad thing is if they would have sorted this out in a professional manner i would have simply re-ordered to my billing address to save all this hassle, or better still rather than just cancelled my order contacted me first professionally and i would have resubmitted my verified address
in all the years of internet shopping i have never dealt with such pathetic service, this is not on
i would strongly suggest you stay away from this company,
We purchased a portable air conditioner and I would like to say that the sales team were excellent, from a technical perspective and giving good sound advise. The unit landed the next day and although their was a part missing from the unit - this was rectified. Their communication is second to non and I would have no reservation of either using them again or in deed recommending to my friends?
Ordered an aircon unit Friday for next day delivery. It arrived on Saturday at 9am. The delivery man brought it upstairs for me and everything worked a treat. The unit was great value at £199. All in all top star service.
To be honest I wouldn't give this company any stars. I bought an airconditioning unit from them, delivered at the beginning of August 2011. We unpacked it straight away to find that it didn't work at all. It blew out at one speed only at room temperature, the lcd display didn't work and neither did a light at the back of the unit. I rang aircondirect to be told they would reduce the price for me. I told them the unit didn't work so what was the point in that. The guy I spoke to said I would be emailed a form to complete in due course. Nothing came, and after numerous emessages, telephone calls and completing their return form numerous times, the unit was picked up last week!!! Today 3rd January 2012, 4 months after it was originally delivered, I have received an email to say they are sending out a replacement!!!! I have told them I do not want a replacement, I want my money back. I have read this problem on other sites since. Please do not use this company, there are far more reputable companies out there!!
Wow I didn't expect next day delivery but that's what I got and I was so pleased. The information on the website about the types of dehumidifier was so helfpul and thanks to that I've made a great purchase. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Aircondirect again.
I ordered a dehumidifier from Aircondirect which was considerably cheaper than the same model from anyone else. I had a bit of trouble paying for it online so I rang their customer service, who I found friendly and very helpful. My dehumidifier arrived a couple of days later and I must say I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Based on my experience I would recommend this company to all that come across them. Top class!!
Ordered dehumidifier - paid for Saturday delivery (next day). Phoned them to make sure it would be Saturday - was told it would be. Didn't arrive - came on Monday (someone had to stay home). Was faulty. Asked for a return - was returned and finally found to be defective. So on Monday (week after original delivery) was told device would be delivered Wednesday. Didn't arrive - when I phoned they said out of stock (someone had stayed in again) - asked for money back. They insisted that if I kept order with them that they would ensure it arrived on Friday. Hasn't arrived - so I phoned and they said - out of stock. (we are home again today).
Truly appalling customer service - never touch this group of companies!
We ordered an aircon unit from Aircondirect.co.uk for delivery to one of our customers. It turned up, but was missing a remote control. I phoned them and they said they would send it - I told them it was urgent as it was for a disabled user. Lots of promises, and a week later, nothing. Phoned again, more waffle, and again nothing. So I spoke to the manufacturer who told me it does not even support remote control anyway! I informed Aircondirect that their web advert was incorrect, and arranged to get it swapped for another more expensive model. Next they tried to collect the unit from our head office (this was having carefully checked they knew the customers address when booking the pickup), then when they did get a courier to turn up at the right place, but they were not authorised to carry the weight! At least they took it anyway. As expected the replacement did not arrive until prompted again. Then they sent the wrong model (i.e. the one we just sent back as unfit for purpose) to the wrong address! At this point we rejected the delivery and cancelled the order (got one the next day from CPC!). Now we started the year long battle to get some money out of them. After lots of checking they had received it back, and then sending emails that said we had been refunded, there was still no refund. Eventually we got the CC company to intervene, and they refunded most of the money, but have still retained about £35 with no explanation or justification no matter how many eMessages we send them, or how hours you waste trying to talk to someone on the phone.
So in my opinion they appear to be grossly incompetent, and dishonest with it.
Chose and researched everything about the unit on the website at aircondirect.co.uk. After using the room size to BTU conversion tool on the website, i knew exactly what output i required from the air conditioning unit. I am familiar with these units so maybe some customers have to phone up to reconfirm. The items where indicated as in stock and they where sent with my budget 4 day delivery option works out really cheap. I received a call the day before delivery from the courier company to confirm arrival. I am delighted with the unit and with the hassle free service.
