Site is 99% LOADED of fake profiles

I had Badoo for a while. I must confess I never payed enough attention to it or anything but when I did I noticed I always was getting these responses from girls that ended up sending me links to Porn Cam Websites. These girls always had private photo albums that whenever you request permission to see them instead of cute pictures they all had these almost naked or naked provocative pictures. Now, that was in 99 % of occasions I was able to establish a connection to someone so I'm sure Badoo is ONLY ABOUT MONEY, is not a reliable website neither whoever owns it has a serious commitment to help users get connected to real people and I'm pretty sure too Badoo has some sort of partnership with porn websites to send users their way.

MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED FOR 6 MONTHS PREMIUM SERVICE AND THE ACCOUNT WAS DELETED BY BADOO STAFF!

I was a member of Badoo for about a year. Since then I have spent almost £200 on its services buying premium upgrades and points. Anyone would say I must be mad to spend such a staggering amount of money just for 1 dating site when you have a choice of thousands in this day and age. I must admit it was too much and any business would treat such customers on a VIP basis. Well, my service from Badoo was far below average.
I have recently upgraded to another 6 months premium service which is not cheap. But a couple of days later I noticed I could not log in anymore. I have not received any emails or notifications from Badoo and did not know what was going on. I have contacted customer services, but the explanation was that they received too many complaints about me and my account was removed. I must say I did not change my profile since I become a member and was never rude to other members, so their actions were unreasonable. I know that some people just click on “report spam or abuse” in revenge because they do not receive a response from a certain member. But incompetent Badoo staff refuse to realise this or even access an individual case or any circumstances. They just deleted my account.
I could not tolerate this attitude anymore and decided to move on and spend my money somewhere else where I would be treated with respect I deserve. I asked for refund but they refused to give it to me. I currently intend to file a complaint and possibly a Lawsuit against this company which obviously has no appropriate conduct in providing the services they charge their customers for.

Terrible, the girl I thought was genuine turned out to be false as the user kept changing their location status. DON'T TRUST IT unless you see verified accounts... Heart broken!!!

Grat site for local dating

I used to travel to Russia to find a wife and I would say it's a great site. So if you're already there, you can find a lot of girls willing to meet a foreigner. The only problem is they tend to be overweight here (way out of proportion), I have no idea why.

Not worth the time of day if you are serious in finding someone.

I have had an account on here since July of 2012, and regret spending any time on here. My mailbox is repeatedly filled with one liners of "Hey xxxxxxx" or "Heya xxxxxxx." After hopefully replying, I get the same BS line of "Can I trust you?" followed by "Good answer. Why don't we go talk on Skype? I have some pictures to show you that I cant post here." At that point the scammer proceeds to leave a Skype handle/user name, and then logs off of Badoo. Within 30 minutes though the Badoo account is banned/removed and if you actually proceed into Skype, in an attempt to see if this person is that fabled female of internet lore, it turns into a bait and switch for an illicit web camera service that charges for it's services.

I signed up looking for someone to date, with the expectations that I would have to play the numbers game, actually be a decent guy, have a little luck, and be willing to wait awhile before I could find anybody compatible. However Badoo seems to be in it for the user count and nothing else as I have yet to actually find anyone whom is willing to meet up for a date, that meets by basic criteria for a match.

I recommend you get an account with Plenty of Fish, eHarmony, or Match.com if you want to find a date, as you have a hell of a lot better chance than Badoo in my experience. If you signed up looking for a fling, you might have better luck on AFF, Craigs List, 2 AM dive bars, or somewhere else, but I don't have any personal experience on that matter, so do so at your own risk.

Also I am willing to be contacted by a representative of Badoo to address this matter and remove my negative review, provided something reasonable can be done to resolve/accomodate my concerns/issues thus far.

At time of writing, badoodoo claims it has 177 million users. I estimate 176 million profiles are fake put up by gangs of Nigerian fraudsters. Totally useless site, totally dangerous site.

I did not consent to Badoo sending an invite to all my 1000s of contacts. This is not acceptable.

Credit card charge without permission

I have signed up on Badoo long time ago. There were times when I made a payment to be able to use a wider variety of services. But I always made sure my account wasn’t on automatic renewal.

In spite of that I had been charged again. It happened two years ago and one month ago last time.

When I was notified of the renewal I logged on and checked my setting, even it said my payment was not in renewal mode. After getting contatct with the customer service I got a polite mail how I can turn off the automatic payment option – which wasn’t on - and nothing happened.

I had filled a claim in my bank both times and got my money back.

FAKE, BIG TIME its like 5% real

I find some local girls that some how dont live here, home how they got relocated ether Nigeria, Dominican Repuplic or some where else. They use the same pictures with diferent number, they will ask you for money to came back to town or to buy a cell phone to be in "touch with you" LOL what a joke. When you tell them no! they delete their profile and move on with a diferent Name.
When you get Super Powers you get a bunch of profile visitors wich like 50% get delete it with 30 min from the site 40% are on and off with in minutes there no way to talk to them. 15% dont even fill up the profile inf. Some time 5% are real...

How is it that my cousin whom I do not speak to seems to have signed up on Badoo and sent me a message. When I checked for the message there is no message. It seems that they use contacts that either know you, visit your page or what ever excuse they can find to get you to join and read fake messages that are not even there. Even more, she is not on the list of visitors to my profile and she does not know I am a member so how do you send a message to another badoo member without visiting their profile on the very first message?

They really need to clean up the fake accounts and take responsibility for the spam they send. Just my 1 cents worth

Badoo is DODGY stay away

I signed up on badoo and agreed to pay for one month only and they did not say anywhere it was recurring billing. It said one off month off £x and then they kept charging my credit card and when I found out and requested a refund they refused. I never used the site and never approved that they would keep charging my credit card. It is all full of fake profiles. Stay away from this dodgy company. It is run by a Russian and he has clearly not learned that in the UK we run honest businesses and don't scam our way to getting rich. We actually have to deliver real value to customers.

Jeg skulle trykke på et link for at læse beskeden. Da to af mine venner allerede har fået hacket deres msn i år, troede jeg først, at det var dette link, der stod bag, så jeg slettede beskeden uden at klikke på noget. Jeg begyndte derfor at undersøge det, og jeg endte her på Trustpilot og kunne læse alles anmeldelser. Altså, et firma der først har hugget oplysninger fra facebook og nu også forsøger via msn. Det er så usselt at gøre den slags.

Used to be hotornot.com. When hotornot became Badoo I went from having great exchanges with real people to a very sharp contrast of literally literally NO ONE
Literally my rating was 9.7 to 9.8 badoo managed to erase my hotornot rating and set it to their standard 5 star system. Once that occurred, my rating was 2.1. On hotornot I could engage just about any girl I that I wanted to and she would reply back in chat. Real discussions

One of the TRICKS they will pull on you : When you attempt to login they will redirect you to a page where it LOOKS LIKE A LOGIN
Instead it's a place to enter your own email address and password for YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT
That way they can download your contacts and then email every other person you've contacted with a request to join you on a dating page.

It turned out to be a very stressful experience for me. I couldn't possibly meet any real person via that site and I only ended up swarmed up by spam emails. They only need user registrations so they could continue to spam.

Jeg har intet imod at nogle sider sender reklamer ud en gang imellem. Dog er Badoo gået en smule over grænsen. Every woman that I encountered on Badoo was using false information and pictures. One said that she was from Ohio City, OH. then she tells me Amsterdan. I ask her why she was lying to me and then she changed it to Ohio Amsterdan,OH, U.S.A.

Waste of time...

I was hope that I could find some new frends, instead, it was a waste of time. As a 'free' member, I found that the majority of people I wrote to had a 'full' mail box and couldn't receive my message. Also, as a 'free' member, I couldn't see who 'wanted to meet me'.

As a paid up member, messages went instantly, but about 90% were never replied to. Also, Badoo shows the date within the past 7 days, when a member was online. How much beyond 7 days, was anyone's guess. Over one weekend I reported some 20+ fake pictures and was only contacted by what I strongly believe to be hookers.

Messages are limited to 10 new contacts per day, even for paying members. You can of course, pay to send more than 10 messages.

The whole system seems to be geared to getting you to pay for a better facility, which frankly doesn't seem to exist. I'm very doubtful that more than a fraction of the 'members' quoted on the site are genuine and active. Be aware.

Too spammy.

One friend entered my email address and got thousand spam emails that "a message is waiting for me in badoo". I mean, come on. If I wanted to come to your site, I would have came on the first or second notification. Sending notifications 3-4 months later won't make me come.

Not good site. Nothing is free to use!

All the good features (e.g Advanced Search) are not free. Also many other features are not free. While they attempted to be creative with the layout of the website it had the opposite affect; it was not a visually appealing or easy to use website.

Damn Bad! spammers/people users...

Do not go and sign up...I would go further and say; everyone should pull out, because it takes advantage of ones information, causing havoc. Very TICKED off with them. Poor directions, bad spelling, bad manners and awhole lot more. They will cause you one BIG NUSANCE. Stay AWAY...you'll regret going in and wasting your time.

Tjekkede da lige min mail igennem for nye indkommende beskeder, da jeg så "Skynd dig at læs din besked inden den bliver slettet" og tjekkede da også med bagtanken at det kunne være virus, da jeg så en masse af mine venner's billeder i mailen, og spurgte dem om de vidste hvad det var og de har aldrig nærmet sig den hjemmeside?

Jeg har ikke haft facebook i et par uger og er 100% sikker på at jeg aldrig har været inde på deres hjemmeside, eller hørt om dem!

What is everybody complaining about??? I've been on badoo for 2 weeks, have had 3 dates and have had sex with all 3 women! The facts are; If you don't get any answers to your messages and haven't had any dates, your just plain undesirable and ugly! Just because your mommy tells you your handsome doesn't mean you are!
