Prompt and efficient delivery of exactly what I need for the boat
Ordereda a tube U adapter and engenius 8dBi aerial for use on my boat, having found faculty-x site extremely clear and helpful.
Asked for and got next day delivery and took straight to the boat,installed the Ralink software plugged in and immediately in commission. Very clear utility and, so far at least providing great service.
Only gripe is the engenius mounting which while designed for outdoor uses clearly not sufficiently robust for marine use. Would feel happier with nylon mounting tube and stainless u-bolts or nylon clamp with stainless bolts not aluminium and (galvanised or painted steel?) u-bolts. Am up to making my own so not a real problem.

This is the third time I've made a purchase from Faculty-X in about 4 years, each time associated with improving the wifi network in my house. I'm practical and have a basic knowledge of the technicalities, but appreciate the knowledgable guidance that is provided on request either confirming the route I had intended to take, or suggesting that there may be a better way to solve my problem. It has always been good advice, and I will return the next time I need this sort of product.
Point of principal for me is that Faculty-X provided me with advice, therefore I buy from them. Not difficult to do, because their delivery is prompt and their prices are competitive.

Great Item I can thoroughly recommend it.
I have just purchased a unit from Faculty X, it enables me to use my laptop in the conservatory and connect to the web via the electricity circuits in my house. I was getting fed up with the wireless signal dropping out and having to reboot all the time.
It works straight from the box and no setting up required, I can even use it in my shed
without any more wiring. Fantastic!.

I ordered an additional 3port home plug to expand my home network into a different room. The model I had was discontinued an alternative new model was supplied. Plug and play. Worked straight out of the box as stated on the website. Great site with the information you need to make the correct choice. If you need it and they have it, buy it.

I called to enquire about a homeplug and if it was suitable for a different brand and I was nervous, I was told that it was suitable so purchased the plug. I ordered an omni-directional Wifi booster and it was delivered within a couple of days.
It was exactly as described on the website, worked straight out of the box, once drivers were loaded and definitely boosts Wifi reception.

Ordered an outdoor Wifi extender system, The system was very easy to set up and use excellent piece of kit. I would recommend it for use on campsites and other areas with limited wifi coverage.

Four Times The Fun
I have got to say that buying the Solwise 4 port Homeplug has been a blessing. Since most of my equipment is in one room (away from the router), I already had a single Solwise Homeplug. The only issue with that was deciding on what it should be plugged into. Do I keep it in the PC, the PS3, the Bluray player or the LG TV. I have a NAS unit installed by the router, so like to access it from a number of sources. Laziness tends to win me over and I just won't change the lead over. That and having to rummage around the back of all this gear, with leads going everywhere. Now, I don't have to. Everything is plugged in and rearing to go. And even when I'm streaming a film from the NAS straight to the TV, I can still download PC updates or even get the latest for the PS3 on the PS+ network. Even if you're only ever likely to have two internet enabled device in a room, go for the 4 port over the single port. The extra expense will be worth it in the end.

FAQ section on website is particularly interesting and helpful - these guys are so much more than distributors.

I Bought the Solwise wifi 200Mbs home plug and it is a great product, I have two. Its a fraction of the cost of other makes and easy easy to install. I found Faculty-X on Google shopping and it was the best price. It was delivered very promptly via the post office which is best. I ordered on Sunday and was delivered by Tuesday. I can highly recommend them.

I have made two purchases of homeplugs from Faculty-X in the last 6m and on each occasion I was assured of stock levels and quick delivery, and they were true to their word. Goods were received within 48hours of ordering and they were securely packed for transit.
Not much more to add except that they are competitively priced and have very modest delivery charges.
I will not hesitate to use Faculty-X again if required

Solwise N Series extender unit arrived. Expected to connect it straight to other Faculty X Homeplugs as it says in the ads and in the instructions. However that's not quite true!?
You need to ensure the new and old are compatable. 85mbps doesn't work with 200 units. It is explained but not anywhere near where you are ordering or where you read the plug and go lines in the descriptions.
Customer service excellent and I opted to upgrade to 200mpbs, so anyone wanting 85 mpbs plugs x4 let me know.
