No customer service!!

Order arrived 1 item missing! called M&M direct and the untrained lady told me I must be fibbing as the items were sent. They were then re-sent and one pair of shoe were different sizes!!!!!!! Dont use this company as there is no customer service and certainly no apology when it goes wrong! be carefull

Used twice, perfect transactions both times

I have had no problems whatsoever with M And M Direct, having now bought from them twice.

Their website is easy to use, and you are able to filter for items which they have in stock, in your size. This is really handy. I'm also impressed with their prices, having bought a jacket I had spotted in the shops for £50 more.

Communication is good, as they send you texts to let you know that your items are on their way. They give you the option to change your delivery date as well, just in case you know you won't be around when they are due to deliver. I did this on my first order, prompting them to deliver the following working day. They duly obliged.

My second order was next day delivery. Order made at 3pm, order arrived at 1.30pm the next day. I'd received a text on the morning of delivery stating that I would receive my order between 12.30 and 1.30pm, so their estimate was fairly accurate.

I have yet to deal with customer services, or had the need to return an item, so cannot comment.

All in all, I am impressed by the company and will continue to use them for future clothes purchases.

Have used time and time again great company

I've used m and m direct for over six years there prices are really low I like the website and range who ever was moaning about charging for returns is a bit confused when you place and order you get the option at the end for returns labels £1.50 I always buy multiple orders so I choose this because its so much easier than having to arrange it yourself just pop the sticker on and take to a local post office done. They have always credited my returns and let me know by email promptly . I can't say how good the customer services are as I've never had to call them in all this time so for worry free Internet shopping you can't go wrong

no customer service skills

Placed order next day delivery got email in morning delivery would be with me between 8_6. Phoned to get nothing but a cheeky bitch saying I had cancelled order for next day at 11am but as I said if I had done so why was I calling them and why did I not have email confirming it the response was if I was going to be sarcastic she would hang up on me true customer service not letting you speak never use them again

Super quick delivery

Placed my order on Saturday and received this morning (Tuesday). Tracking information available immediately along with update emails. Along with fantastic prices I cannot fault this Company.

Regular shopper at the site, and have always experienced efficient delivery and no screw-ups! I live outside the UK and delivery was still very fast!

I've use M and M Direct a few times and haven't had any problems. You can't beat their prices and I usually get my order within a few days.

they took money from my bank account!!

I had used mandmdirect a couple of times in the past but I happened to check my bank account over Christmas and they had taken money from my bank account. i hadn't ordered anything in months. i contacted them and they refunded it but said they couldn't give an explanation - just not a good enough response for such a breech of trust!

Good prices, varying products and shitty service

I've used them several times, but now I've had it.
They have some varying but there is good stuff in between and nice prices, but you better pray everything works out perfect the first time. I have never personally experienced or heard of other who had any issues fixed by that "customer service" (they really should rename that). If something fails - deal with it yourself. it your loss.

I've had the wrong sizes shipped and recieved quite a few products that I expected to be of way better quality (dont ever buy Police).

The thing that pushes me over the edge is this last shipment with a faulty item out of the box. I have to pay for that to be fixed... If the item was flawless and I just wanted to return it - then fair enough, but they send a broken item and thats on me ..!
And ofc now their customer service dont respond.

Very Satisfied

I was somewhat worried about using this company after reading the reviews on here. However, I suspected that perhaps people are more likely to post a review after they've had a bad experience.

I placed my order on Thursday night and the item arrived very promptly on Monday and this was with free standard delivery. The item was of excellent quality and the price was fantastic.

No complaints at all

Good choice, great discounts and easy to order and return.

So what if they charge £1.49 for returns? It's not exactly bank-breaking considering the savings made and cheaper than a return bus/tube to go shopping in town!

I haven't had an issue at all and have used them a couple of times for quite large orders. Perhaps, according to other reviews, I've been lucky, but lightning has struck twice here anyway!

Very bad customer service

I placed an order and entered my work details for delivery (rather than billing address) however the confirmation displayed my billing address, which I no longer live at. I contacted MandM immediately to have this fixed and they refused to do anything to help or refund the extra price for next day delivery (considering I have to now drive an hour to pick this up on a weekend). Poor form.

Impressed

I used mandm direct for some puma trainers, even AFTER reading some of the reviews on this site, so in all honesty I was expecting something to go wrong. However, my order arrived within 3 days, I was kept informed all the way through and was very impressed. I will definately use them again and the trainers are great and were £25 less than anywhere else, cheers

Wont be using anymore

Placed a large order, they decided to cancel it as apparently there was a problem with the details even though I have made many orders before. Rang them up to query the problem, they put it back through and over half the items were now out of stock.

I ordered a pair of hunters on the Monday that was a week before Christmas wih next day delivery (promised to be there by Wednesday 19th) it came to Wednesday and still no sign so I have them a call, they were very polite and friendly and promised me they would get them expressed delivered and that they would 100% be there by Christmas.. What a guess, they never arrived in time for Christmas. We rung them on Christmas Eve and they said that the person I had spoke to had only made a note on delivering the item and had not actually reposted them.. I am very disappointed

Absolutely appalling! Now skiing with NO CLOTHES thanks to MandMdirect.

I ordered clothes for my 1st ski holiday in 5 years, mainly stuff for my 4 year old, and ordered THREE WEEKS before departure as the site states '3-5 working days for delivery'. 4 days before departure and still no stuff, I started emailing and phoning. What a waste of my time, money and energy. There is NO COMMUNICATION within the company, staff are seemingly not trained and totally incompetent. To cut a LONG story short, I am now on my ski trip with no ski clothes and a sobbing 4 year old. To make matters worse, I requested a full refund several times but to no avail, so now they email me to say that my parcel in untraceable but they have sent a replacement!!! Are they mad? They could have refunded me but instead chose to send another parcel which will arrive long after I get home. This shows that they do not give any concern to their customers and have no communication, nor do they read their emails properly. I guess you get what you pay for, and in this case, cheap goods and a cheap company.

Our experience was positive

I was a little concerned given the polarity of the reports on TrustPilot. I ordered a selection of men and women's wear at very good price and the order was complete and delivered very speedily.
The only thing I will mention, which is as much my mistake as their system, is that I had deleted several items as I was going along from my cart, and these were included and charged on the final order. No doubt had I have checked properly at the final stages I could have amended the order. Given the amazing savings they were at I am not too distressed!
From the feedback it seems the firm is good as long as there are no issues.

Good value for money

Bought a lot of olympics items at reduced price.

Made a mistake and ordered twice of the same, asked them almost straight away afterwards to change it or change the quantity but they wouldnt, hiding behind a "A very efficient Warehouse Management System".

May try them again at some point.

Disapointed and annoyed

What seemed to be a bargain buy of 2 pairs of boots turned out to be little less than some kind of scam!
After supplying all the required details I purchased 2 pairs boots with next day delivery online at MandM direct or so I thought. I received a confirmation e-mail and then about an hour later I received an e-mail saying my order could not be processed because of a problem with my card details :-

"Thank you for your recent order.

Unfortunately, your order is currently on hold as we have a query with the card holder’s details. In order for us to process your order, we need to ensure that the address details we have are correct.

Could you please email our Card Services team on carddetails@mandmdirect.com and confirm the following details:

The card holder’s full name
The card holder’s date of birth
The address to where the payment card is registered (billing address)
Your chosen delivery address (if different to above)
If moved within the past 12 months please can you supply your old billing address

Alternatively, please contact our Customer Service Team on 0871 200 5000 to confirm the above information "

Firstly, the link to customer services does not work. second, when I run my mouse over the link I see this:

Thirdly, The phone number given to call them on is a 10p per min rate.
Having no option but to call this number, I was told that my card details were incorrect and asked for my date of birth. I had already supplied all these details correctly when joining mandm and pointed out that I had just made several more purchases on-line with the same card with no problem at all. I was then told that one of the items was out of stock, would I still like the other item? I refused and asked for my whole order to be cancelled. I consider this dis-honest.
Since this has happened I have been bombarded with junk e-mails which I have not solicited in any way and always carefully avoid ticking or un-ticking relevant boxes for. I assume that mandm have sold on my details against my wishes.

I will not be using Mandmdirect again and would not advise anyone else to either.

POOR service, items returned 6th November according to tracker, staff cannot find the parcel!

Using the returns label and collect+ service I returned items back for a exchange, so I sent them off and tracked it on-line, it said they were delivered by the 6th November 2012 1300hrs, as of today 14th November 2012 the staff at MandM direct have no record of this parcel and are unable to find the items I have returned!

I'm sick of this company this has happened too many times due to being sold items which are of poor quality or faulty!!

I will not use again and I recommend anyone thinking of using them if you're not sure on the size and may have to return to avoid this company!!!!!!!!!

Mmmmm really bad - bordering on diabolical :o(

Ordered a pair of shoes for school on a Friday with guaranteed next day delivery, knowing they would come Monday. Monday came and went. Tracked the parcel and it said delivery was between 5:10 and 6:10. It said it had been returned to the depot at 5:11. Obviously the van driver couldn't be bothered. Rang m and m spoke to someone who guaranteed they would be delivered Tuesday. Tuesday came and went - guess what no shoes. Tracked the parcel, even at 11:00pm it was still out for delivery. Was there still a little hope that within the remaining hour of Tuesday it could still be delivered - nope. Rang m and m spoke to some 'boy' who really couldn't be of any use, then spoke to supervisor who said she would ring back first thing Wednesday with some answers ...... You've guessed it - no phone call and no shoes. I won't be ordering from here again. Not only have I so far wasted 3 days of my life waiting for the parcel but my Son keeps getting detention for not wearing the right shoes. SHAME ON YOU M AND M!!!

You CHARGE customers for returns labels???!!!

Dreadful. I was all set to buy shoes from this company, but when I saw that they charge £1.49 for returns labels (and no option not to have this included...) I was scandalized! How on earth do they get away with treating customers like this?! Well, I didn't buy from the company - and I never will.

International delivery - very positive experience

Looking at other reviews, it seems Mandmdirect may have some issues with their service, if something goes wrong. So I was a little apprehensive about trying them out.

However, here is my experience from my first time shopping with them:

1. Good prices
2. Good selection
3. Fast and perfect delivery
4. Correct items

I could not ask for more.
Will definitely come back.

Never had a problem !!

Just a quick review to say always had quick delivery from them and found the communication always speedy and informative as to order recieved and despatched info etc.

For the first time last week i had to return a jacket that was to small for my son. I hadn't paid for the pre-paid returns label so had to bear the cost of return myself but i didn't mind this as it was my choice to not pre-pay. Any how i recieved e-mails to tell me return was recieved then again when return was despatched out to myself which was great customer service i thought. The exchange took less than a week in total so once again very happy with mandm.

Just try them

Only used them twice and both occasions they where very good. Bought my daughter a Helly Hanson jacket over 12 months ago and have just bought my self a pair of Firetrap shoes last week. Both items arrived quickly and both where at a fantastic price. As above just try them.

They lie to your face!

MandMdirect decided to cancel my order as my billing and delivery addresses we different (yes, some people have more than one house). They did not bother to ring/email me, just cancelled it. It was only when I rung them to chase my order I was told that my bank was holding my payment (what a rubbish- from my bank balance I could see that they had authorised the payment) and that they texted, emailed me and even sent me a paper letter regarding it. What a lie. Just a bunch of brainless muppets. Spend your money somewhere else.

Pay for the returns

Me and my partner both order from M&M and they've been good. The difficulty with buying on line (especially clothes) is sizing but we've found if we're a bit iffy between sizes and there is the option then buying both sizes and paying up front for returns via the pop in package drop off centres they use is cheaper and faster than parking in town! Another success and they're generally very fast at refunding returned items, usually taking a day or 2 maxumum, just as it should be.

Will continue to use, but would be nice if they carried more small/medium clothes or had a slightly bettwe size search function as we're not all built like weebles!

Good company let down by courier

I ordered a dress at around 1am on a Thursday and paid for next day delivery, by 8pm on Friday my dress hadn't arrived so I called mandm.

They were quick enough to answer the phone and they checked with the courier they use (interlink express) who had had my dress since 9:02am and not attempted delivery. The guy offered to refund my postage charge as I had not received the service I paid for and chase up the courier.

My dress arrived on Sunday (??) so I emailed mandm to let them know and ask how to go about the delivery refund, again they were quick to reply and I got an email back on the Monday morning apologising again that it had not turned up when expected and to expect a refund in my paypal account in the next few days.

The dress I ordered though was perfect and great value for money.

Appalling service

I was contacted by Hermes to say that they had tried to deliver but despite my being at home all day, they were unable to gain access to the property. I waited in all the next day as they promised they would redeliver then but again nobody turned up. When I checked the status of the order I was told the order was 'refused'. I have not been contacted by the company about a refund and so far they have failed to answer my emails. A very poor service so far!

Saved a fortune !

When you have teenage boys who won't wear anything but designer clothing, this is the place to go! I have saved a fortune and spent only a fraction of the normal price. Delivery is always speedy and the returns are simple. Recommended to anyone who wants to look the part but not pay over the top prices!

i bought from them a quite big quantite, on the 28/12/11 didn't receive it. i emailed them on the 09/01/12 asking for my order.
they told me we will send you half you order, i refuse because i wanted my whole order i canceled the order and i asked for my money back.they refuse and they are processing it eventhough i don't want the order. don't do business with them. horrible

Usually quite good, but this time round very poor!!

Firstly, I just want to say that I am someone who hardly ever complains and a lot of the time I just stick it out when things are not to standard. Therefore, this review is from someone who doesn't complain a lot and hasn't posted an online complaint before.

To sum it up, I ordered some items within a week of Xmas, when they still stated they would post before Xmas, although I ideally wanted the items before Xmas, I knew I had a bit of risk ordering reasonably close to Xmas, so if it came a little after it wouldn't matter. What I was bothered about was the fact that after nearly 2 weeks of placing my order, it had not arrived. I checked the Hermes online tracking and this told me the item had apparently been "dispatched" and then immediately returned to the warehouse due to damage, which occurred pretty much a day after I placed my order. They never even let me know about this situation!!

I rang up and the person wasn't greatly helpful and made me confirm my brother's DOB as he had ordered before -despite this being my own account!! I was then told that 3 out of my 5 items ordered were not in stock to be dispatched, which made me quite suspicious as to whether they just pretended my items were damage as they just didn't have some in stock. It also made me think "what the hell were they going to send me and would they have informed me at anytime?"

After some annoying holds, the person eventually told me a refund would be processed. Guess what? The refund has still yet to be processed after a week and it has taken me many attempts to contact them to get back to me and surprise surprise they just told me exactly the same thing (that it was being refunded), but also that they need to find the items first. I obviously thought "aren't these items at their warehouse as Hermes said?" and secondly, "why is this my problem? it's their damn logistical issue not mine!!". Luckily I paid with Paypal (and would advise you to if you have to order), so I should be able to make a claim to get it back, but you would have thought that from all the grief they have caused me, they might be courteous enough to just give my money back!!

I'm now really on the backfoot with this company and will try and avoid using them in future!! I have been a loyal customer for about 15 years!!

great bargains to be had

I shop here for my teenage sons clothes alot, branded and cheaper than the high street shops . good fast service . always to my door within 48 hours . hassle free returns . i have given them 4 stars because lately they have started to add returns labels for £1.49 on and if you don't notice this added on at the check out (i have ) it automatically gets added on . would be good if you could add this option on yourself .
