I have no idea why people are slating Ryanair? I have had NO problems with this airline at all. Follow instructions and you will be fine, staff are polite. They do not run and scream at you up and down the airplance aisle, they slowly walk up and down it and if anyone wishes to order food they can. The leg room and room on the seats is better than Thomas Cook too. If you don't want to get charged for things on the website read it properly and there is always the option NOT to get charged for something. My flights have always been on time (departure and arrival), pleasent and I have travelled with Ryanair 6 times since November 2013. People need to get off of their high horses and if they expect to be treated like The Queen then maybe they should travel by Horse and Cart instead. I've had no issues with Ryanair and would reccomend them to anyone. Cabin baggage allowance is reasonable and I am a girl saying that! You can also take another small hand bag on with you so life isn't too bad. All I'm saying is Ryanair is Ryanair.. Follow guidelines on site, read things properly and follow the rules! EASY PEASY!
Just booked a flight with ryanair and think people should be aware that as of march, you cannot print off your boarding passes until 7 days before the flight, so if you book a holiday for 10, 14, 21 days etc so you will have to have access to the internet and printer while you are on holiday as you will need to print off your return boarding passess - but with their great customer care that they offer (sarcastic voice) you can pay £12.99 for an advance seat and you can do it 30 days before - i feel they are just bullying people into paying extra - total rip off
INSURANCE option - it used to be below all the countries 'dont need insurance' option now it is in between the countries under D ... all they try to do is make you pa by making it more difficult to see.....
Secondary I paid for the ticket 473zl it should be £93 they chargeed me over 10 % more by setting up an unacceptable rate so they charged me 103
Unacceptable I used them quiet often when i was younger due to cheap costs but actually as i remember right each time it worked not much cheaper and the quaity of flights is just ridiculous, the seat dont move if you are over 6'' make sure you stick your legs out, unfortunately there is a trolly going up and down and sell burgers hot dogs just like in a american market lol '' screaming burger hot dogs perfumes so you cant even relax
I forgot to mention what has happened a while ago. I forgot do print a boarding pass as every airline i flew with was doing it for me ( I flew with at least 10 different airlines) I have paid for the ticket about £60 and because i forgot to print it they charged me £70
Ryanair cancels my flight, and offers that I can order a new ticket free of charge. Okay - I write mails to you, as you not answer, just get an auto email back :-(. I try to call the many phone number, but non of them works from my country, Denmark :-( I've got to get the money back, so I can order a new ticket. and now my ticket is 400 kr more expensive. You wrote it would be free..Thank you for the earth's poorest service. it is clear that it is not something in value highly. I have not be able to get in contact or get any help :-( I'm sorry
NEVER AGAIN! I have never in my life been treated so bad and unfair before. Unfriendly staff...figures! I will do anything poissible to warn people against using this so called Airline. Ryan Air and their staff should be ashamed of themselves! If possible, i wouldn´t even have given 1 star at all !
So this airline is a joke. If you want to go on a cheap mini break don't bother my last experience has been enough to put me off for live. Never again will I travel with this airline regardless of price. So we my wife and I are traveling from London to Rome a 2 hour flight. For a weekend mini break. So we take of at 9:10 and the fly one and a half hours in the wrong direction to land in East Midlands airport as the plane is malfunctioning and we have to swap for another plane (it begs to question what cut backs are being done to keep prices so low is passenger safety now being jeopardised). The new plane then misses it's point in the queue meaning more delays. So it's now 12:09 and we are still on the Tarmac And just been informed that we will wait another half hour. Have the flight crew offered a complimentary drink of water NO nothing it comes across that they used to this sort of service and see no problem with it. I'd also like to add that after the terrible crash in Bradford which brought in the new unified brace position to give you the best opportunity to survive a crash. Cannot physically be adopted on a Ryanair flight if your 5ft11 and above as the seats are so close together. So if you are thinking let's hop on a cheap flight for a weekend think twice before booking with Ryanair as you may not get the amount of time you expected in the city or country your travelling too. You'll most likely spend most of your time on a Ryanair airplane which is uncomfortable and decorated in the most disgustingly ugly yellow which reminds you of a warning sign. (Subliminal message maybe).
My wife and I booked flights to Alicante from Leeds Bradford in December 2013 to fly in May 2014. we had booked our hotel to suit these flights, I received an email on Christmas Eve telling me that the flights had changed and the outgoing flight was now on the next day. This totally ruined our plans and even though we received a refund I cant see how this can happen considering it is 6 months before the flight date. we even paid extra for our seat numbers. I can only assume that we have been replaced by other passengers as far as I am aware the flight we booked is still scheduled to fly. I complained to Ryan air but received no apology only the option to fly the next day or a refund. It was the first time we had booked with Ryanair and we were very disappointed
In last 4 January I received an email of Ryanair saying that my credit card payment was declined and my booking on the flight to next day (5 January) too. In view of this I canceled my hotel booking and the entire trip to Dublin (from London). However some days later when I looked to my credit card statement, I found the Ryanair's debit! In short: I lost my trip, part of the money regarding the hotel booking, and the company is charging me the flight. Since the Ryanair has no email or phone contact visible, does anybody knows how contact them to get my refund? Many thanks!
I know that most of the people hate this airline but I just love them. They route-map is incredible, it's possible to get with them to every part of Europe. And prices are awesome, you can pay 20-30 EUR total to get to another part of Europe! If you remember about checkin online, hand luggage restrictions and you can stand on-board sale and that circus, you are good to fly!
I travel a lot, which means I fly at least 10 times a year. Ryanair has been the only service I've used for the past few years and I'll continue to use it. The staff is nice, the plane is clean and it's cheap. Usually I travel with hand luggage only and I've never had any problems - as long as you read the rules and stick to them, you'll be perfectly fine. I've seen everything while waiting in front of the gate - people who refuse to put their hand luggage into a box to check dimensions when the staff asks them too and then after they pay the fee, they do it and start yelling because they are not getting a refund, people with 3 suitcases instead of one, passengers with a very oversized bag and more. As somebody said: it's all your fault. It is stated clearly on the website what is allowed and what not. Ryanair is the best low fare airline out there, and also the cheapest one. They're almost always on time and cancelled flights are very, very, very rare. If you made a mistake, don't blame them.
A rip off! I thought I was getting a good deal, only to find that they use every opportunity to charge you...I ended up spending more than I would have if I paid for the ticket a few hundred dollars more w/ a different airline. I regret traveling with Ryanair. I will never fly with them again. They should not be able to get away with such poor service.
They are a no-frills operator and they do live up to their name. Over past few years, I have flown with the airline and they have always been on time weather permitting. The staff is efficient and the planes as far as I have seen are well maintained too. I feel its best not to expect full service from a no frill carrier hence they should be judged accordingly I feel. All in all they are money's worth.
