I bought a pair of shoes at the weekend for work. They were leather style shoes suitable for work and weren't cheap (£45). On the second day of wearing them it was a rainy day and by the time I had walked home from work my left sock was soaking wet. The shoe was obviously letting water in so I took the pair back today (4 days after buying them) to exchange them for another pair. However the store managers stated the shoes weren't labelled as waterproof and couldn't see a fault with them. They have sent them away to have some water tests done but in the meantime I now have no shoes for a number of weeks. The returns policy is awful, I will never buy shoes from here again as most companies would happily exchange faulty goods for an identical product with a proof of purchase receipt.
I ordered some boots and was really excited about them. It took Schuh several days to email me to say they had sold out of my size. What on earth are Schuh doing selling things they don't have in stock, how hard can it be to count how many pairs of boots you have available to sell. Will never buy from them again.
Went to buy a pair of boots for my birthday. I really liked them but after one use, part of the heel came off! I went to complain, but they said in the store that they needed to send it to Costumer Services, because they weren't sure what to do. I did and waited for a whole week. I got the boots back delivered with a letter saying, basically, that it was my fault what had happened. I just couldn't believe that they weren't taking any responsibility for the quality of the material of the shoes they are selling. Is not reasonable that after wearing them once and walking only 2 blocks, part of the heel started to come off! Especially, considering that I didn't trip or had any accident that could have caused this. How can we trust the Customer Service of the same shop to be fair? There should be an impartial organisation to judge these situations. I've never had this experience before with any of the shoes that I've bought in other places, which, by the way, have been much cheaper! I'm very disappointed and will never go back to Schuh again!
Bought some trainers and after wearing them once I noticed they had a small hole, I wouldn't normally bother but they wer a birthday gift off my 2 little girls, I took them back to my local store (Wigan) and the assistant 'Claire' was very helpful and even offered to deliver my new trainers to my work address, they arrived today and even the UPS driver who delivered was very pleasant, overall very happy customer thanks again Claire I know people mostly complain these days I just wanted to let u know how grateful I am.
Bought 2 pairs of shoes from the .com site and within a day they had been dispatched and out for delivery the day after. The prices were excellent and I have never had a problem with this company and recommend them 100%!
The last time i visited schuh twice in one night the first time i was helped by a very nice young man but did not get his name, my next time in i was helped by Daniel, he was happy to get any shoes i wanted to look at and had a brill scenes of humour. The cashier that served me was Abigail she was very friendly and plight as she listened to my rant about christmas shopping. I will be back again and will recommend the shop to friends.
I bought a pair of bose london shoes from the norwich shop and all the staff were very helpful the staff could not do enough for you i wil even go back to buy another pair very good keep the good work up
I already wrote a review but think it got lost somewhere. just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with Schuh. I bought some boots about 3 weeks ago and the staff at Schuh (Metro Centre) were lovely. Really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately my boots or rather right boot turned out to be faulty, so I returned to Schuh and tried to get a replacement pair which I was unable to do as they had sold out in my size. One of the assistants looked up shops that had the boots I wanted, gave me a number to ring, advice, and a full refund. I looked online and found my size sold out there too. I found a Schuh in Norwich that had them, rang and talked to a lovely assistant who gave me Schuh's customer service number. Long story short. The lady at customer service went out of her way to find me a pair of the boots I wanted. Rang me back in the evening and I am now awaiting a pair of boots to be delivered. Result!!! Just want to say that nothing seems too much trouble for the staff at Schuh. They are really lovely and helpful and I can definitely recommend shopping at Schuh. You leave with some great footwear and a smile on your face.
Jeg har indenfor en uge modtaget mine bestilte sko. Schuh var behjælpelige med at sikre at jeg fik den korrekte størrelse i netop det mærke. Udvalget er rigtig fint, og de har bl.a. en del Onitsuka Tiger, deriblandt Tai-Chi modellen, som kan være svær at finde. Jeg anbefaler uden skrupler Schuh.
I ordered a £75 pair of shoes from here that were beautiful. However they sent me the wrong size, and a receipt that didnt belong to me. I returned them to the store, to be spoke to like rubbish, and that I was stupid. I had to explain to the lady in the shop that "I haven't got MY receipt because YOUR company sent me the wrong one. So MY bank details arent on here, because I am NOT this person." After sometime explaining to the shop assistant, she called head office, I answered a few security questions and could then return my shoes.
I wasnt happy. If you want some shoes from Schuh, go in store. Then less hassle, just encase.
