You know how you can never find that perfect card or that perfect little "I'm thinking of you" gift when you need it? Well, you can find it on this website. I could spend a whole day just browsing but I know that I would buy just about everything on there. After I ordered, I decided to mail a couple things out for Valentine's day which was just around the corner. I called Customer Service and they were just great. Changing my method of shipping would not make it happen unless they could rush it out the door, which they did allowing me to receive my order, package it up and get it to my friend by Valentine's Day. It's hard to find that kind of service today and I truly appreciate this website and all that they offer.
The site presents as operating in the UK and other countries but only reveals freight costs and the reality once you've gone to all the effort of putting the order together. This is clearly unethical. I ordered a single custom mouse mat which had not been finished properly so the surface comes away from the base - it had never been stuck properly. Delivery time also took longer than stated despite costing more than £30 which I wouldn't have condoned had I not been in a rush at the time.
I've ordered two products from Zazzle now. My first being a hoodie which I ordered at almost four years ago. Despite the four years of age, the hoodie looks practically the same as it did when I received it day one. I was worried because most customized graphics on clothing usually flakes away within the first year, but this one still stands
My second product is a wall-decal which I've placed my order for today. (March 2nd, 2014)
The decal itself costed $16.95 for a 12''x12''. I managed to find a 20% off coupon that knocked the price down to $13.56 which was really nice. However, the shipping costed $7! That's more than half the price of the product itself! (discounted price of course) I'm sure the shipping prices vary depending on where you live and it's probably just because I live in North Carolina and their company is located in California. So I'm not going to completely blame Zazzle for that.
Once I receive the decal, I'll modify my review with details about the decal's quality.
Updated on: March 10th, 2014 The wall-decal arrived at 7:00PM via UPS on the estimated delivery business day. Upon opening the package, I noticed the decal was made out of a nice material, not as I was expecting. The wall-decal looks exactly like the vector graphic I had uploaded and well meets my expectations.
The stickyness of the decal is really nice, so nice that it can be reused if needed.
Here's the original vector of my design: http://enu.li/?i=Echo/Vector.png
And here's Zazzle's result: http://enu.li/?i=Echo/Zazzle.png
I was able to upload the picture of my Daughter with her Fiance for a wedding plate. The wedding will take place on March 17, 2014. Right, St. Patrick's Day! Try to find a wedding anything that shows the day and wedding items. You have to make it yourself and Zazzle allows you you do just that. Thank you for a great, easy result that has made the occasion just a bit more special.
Tl;dr: The preview images are a lie, and there's some shady stuff going on with the reviews on the Zazzle site itself.
I'm only giving Zazzle more than one star because they're giving me a full refund without requiring me to return my faulty product. That said, I don't recommend them at all.
I ordered a phone case. The preview online showed a high-resolution image on the case. Crisp, clear, and vibrant. The product I got was blurry, pixelated, dull, and terrible quality. Really-- it looks like something I printed off of a Geocities website in the 90s. I would estimate that the print source image was about 72 dpi, tops, and then enlarged to fit. The case also arrived chipped. Judging by the shape of the chip and the fact it's only in the sublimated design, not the case itself, it's a manufacturing default. It more than likely looked like this before it left the factory. It's small, but I noticed it within the first seconds of looking at the case. Even a quick once-over would have caught it. Zero quality control before shipping on both the image and the printing. No matter how good your customer service is, a bad product is a bad product. Also, the plastic sleeve the case was packaged in was too small for the case. It's a little thing, but it looks really unprofessional. You know instantly that you've ordered something cheap that you were overcharged for. Overall, just no pride in their products.
Customer service got back to me within one day, so props for that. They offered me a full refund while waiving the usual inspection requirement, probably because I included a photo of the damage. More kudos for that, and added kudos for recommending I donate the case. However, nowhere in the e-mail did they apologize or offer to help if I had any further questions. Just "Here's your refund! Come buy more stuff!" Again, no pride in the product, not even in the auto-generated responses that their poor customer service reps have to send out.
I went to post this review on the Zazzle website when I got an e-mail asking me to review my experience. I am --locked out-- of reviewing it. It says over and over that I've "Already reviewed this product." I have never ordered a Zazzle product before now; I've never reviewed anything on their site before. I suspect they locked me out of reviewing it because it arrived damaged.
Overall, if you want a cool/custom case, go onto Etsy. There are plenty of people making them in home studios and selling them for half the price. They do a better job and care about what they do.
I had a great experience purchasing business cards through Zazzle- great designs, great variety, great prices, great service! I have only purchased business cards though, other items on the site are a little too pricey for my budget. Business cards are definitely the way to go with Zazzle!
I have designed several shirts that were made by Zazzle. The design program is easy to use, but sometimes people like me still have a learning curve. I quickly got that behind me. One of the things I especially like is that there are quite a few more options than another web site [CP] that makes tee shirts and coffee mugs and stuff. Apparently Zazzle, the more recently developed program, saw the limits and overcame them. I'd recommend Zazzle for anyone.
I have used Zazzle exclusively for my business cards for at least three years now. I'll be honest, if I can find a discount code I use it, I don't think I've ever bought at full price and would consider other companies if no discount was available as I think full price is overpriced.
Having said that, Zazzle has only once failed me regarding quality, and they refunded my money after I sent photos of the problem. My regular business card design has always been great. I am waiting for a new design to be delivered and I will review them on arrival.
Standard delivery can be a little slow, that's about the only negative thing I can say about Zazzle.
I am really satisfied with the items I've ordered. I like the choices Zazzle offers. I think their prices are very competitive and the products are really good. I would definitely order from Zazzle again. In fact there are a couple of items I've already looked at that are on my gift list. And I received my orders very quickly. I am very happy with ZAZZLE!!!!!!
Want to personalize just about anything with your business logo, or coordinate everything for a specific occasion? Zazzle is the place to go! This year I failed to send Christmas cards, no problem, Zazzle had a great selection of New Year's cards and matching stamps, with options to customize to fit my every whim.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to speed up the order to delivery timeline. It takes time for customizations, but they do need to add an "I need this tomorrow" options for us procrastinators.
I was very dissapointed with zazzle on this one. I linked through a 30 percent off email advertisement. I bought 100 cards. I expected to get the 30 percent off after the bulk discount for buying 100 cards. I couldn't make it work. It was a large purchase, $170, 30% would have been a lot of money. I hope someone reads this and credits my card. that is the only way I will ever shop from one of these emails again.
Get your butt on to Zazzle... it's a great site for all kinds of presents for the people you can't buy for because they have everything. I bought the coolest mug of all time there and will go and get something else once I know what I want ... shipping is a breeze and the mug was wrapped up so much in bubble wrap, you swear they were sending it to their own family and the company really did want it to arrive to you on time and to make sure you're happy... their products are just brilliant.
