I bought a ring in Oct 2011. I used a so-called "personal shopper" at Brilliance to select my diamond and ring. While I didn't find the personal shopper very personable, my complaint is about the service (or lack of service provided).
I was told in writing by the personal shopper that my stone would be eye-clean. It was NOT. In fact there's a blatantly obvious black spot that is easily visible with the naked eye! Unfortunately I had no time to return the ring without completely botching my engagement plans. To add insult to injury, the ring shipped later than promised and had loose prongs!
If you are going to buy an engagement ring from Brilliance, allow plenty of time for returns. Buyer beware.

Unlike color, carat, or cut which are objective, if a diamond is eye clean or not is for the most part subjective. We always recommend allowing time to review a loose diamond before making plans. This way you have time to exchange the diamond and find a cleaner (higher clarity) option.
